| 초록 | The purpose of this article is to review the explanation of idiomatic usage in dictionary and to find new sense item in the explanation which is useful to learners of idioms. Dictionary must present sufficient information of usage of idiom to learner so this article inquire the usage of idiom in the semantic-pragmatic point of view. As a result, it is indicated that not only traditional stylistic elements, but also speaker's attitude and intention are necessary in order to explain the pragmatic use of idioms in dictionary. |
