초록 Background Rheumatoid Arthritis(RA) is an unexplained chronic inflammatory disease. However, the sickness can be alleviated through early diagnosis and treatment. IVD must be used for rapid ascertainment of the RA, but all related products are imported in the country. The B manufacturer succeeded in developing a pain measuring instrument through the convergence of existing patents. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to develop product design through cooperation. Methods The study method applied three stages of problem definition, styling, and mock-up making and evaluation. In the first step, the researcher grasped the text background and requirements. The designer embodied it through idea sketch and 3D rendering in the second process. Finally, we had a FGI after a prototype production. Results The design researchers completed the final design draft and made the working model based on the engineering review data. The final specialist evaluation result was 4.01 above the goal(3.5). And they expected the designed medical product to be highly utilized in the future. Conclusion This conclusion of thesis by conducting the development of product design for the first rheumatoid arthritis in the nation helped strengthen the design development capabilities of small company. In addition, it was meaningful in that Development of empirical design through reflection of medical staff's opinions and prevention of mistakes in the engineering process from real model making in advance.
