The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness level of the maritime police, which is one of special occupations, about their own health and the relationship between their awareness level of health and quality of life. The subjects in this study were 499 selected police officers in four different regions. A survey was conducted for seven months from September, 2013, and the collected data were analyzed.
