The time-space compression by rapidly developing technology and new visual conditions have dramatically changed people's lifestyle and taken root in their daily lives. The dynamic postmodern 'visual thinking' has been a turning point for the new spirit of the age. It has united contemporary spatial senses and promoted 'aesthetics of daily routine' as the diverse sensual image from the discontinuity of wholeness. However, current technologies have failed to reach up to the level to recover and heal 'the disability of senses.' Unless we are able to enjoy solitude and relaxation with our smartphone, we end up in being seized under 'zombie?Modern,' living in 'the alternative image' of spatial senses. If the discontinuity and suture of contemporary senses is the primary suture, despite the new spirit of the times, the latest visual technologies would be able to bring 'secondary suture' which can substitute visual thinking with 'fantastic image' only. As a result, 'the spirit of the postmodern times' is ethos which opens a new society as solitude-caused creation. |
