초록 | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI apparatus capable of visualizing one of two tissues or portions with respect to the other with high luminance without incurring extension of time of pulse application, and further to provide an MRI method.SOLUTION: An imaging section of an MRI apparatus collects NMR signals by using a preliminary RF pulse exciting a first region and a high-frequency pulse including an excitation RF pulse exciting a second region different from the first region. A shimming parameter calculation section calculating a shimming parameter adjusting an irradiation magnetic field distribution generated by the high-frequency pulse irradiated from a plurality of channels individually sets shimming parameters different from each other with respect to the preliminary RF pulse and the excitation RF pulse. The imaging section performs imaging by using the preliminary RF pulse and the excitation RF pulse adjusted by the different shimming parameters.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
